About the transcription
Machine-transcribed from microfilm scans, re-read in 2026 with the text following the columns. For issues through 1899 the column frames are the Library of Congress's own page layouts; the Library's reprocessed batch ends with 1899, so for the 52 issues of 1900 the column frames were derived from the original digitization's line coordinates. Reading errors survive; check names and quotes against the page images at the source link.
